Anyone else find the community discussions here are going backwards a little?
There’s some basic UX traps that have been growing over time that I find are reducing engagement around here - hope this helps feedback and curious of any ideas from others to help the team improve things
posts are sorted backwards, so if you join a post with a bunch of replies and just want to read the discussion in chronological order you have to scroll down and tap “show more” until you get to the first responses. Sometimes I have to scroll and click show more up to 10 times just to see the first response in a thread. Seeing the most recent response first
The most popular posts are always the same. There’s needs to be some sense of popular the past week for it to be useful
Search is one of the most important tasks in a forum but the results are limited and cropped off. It’s often 3 or 5 or 10 items deep in search results before you find a solid solution (in general I’m not sure why but the accuracy of results feels like it was better with the old forums)
