Could older versions of the Xcode be enough for iOS app testing on a device?

Hi, I am thinking to buy a second hand MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) just for testing on devices and app store deployment through FF MacOs desktop app. Since the newest Xcode requires macOS Ventura, and this macbook does not support the least required operating system( for Mid 2015 Macbook the latest possible Os is Monterey). Do you know if older versions of the Xcode be enough for iOS app testing on real devices and app store deployment?
