I am in absolute AWE as to how good grok is. For years I have been using paid version of GPT to help me with custom actions/ custom widgets. It does its job at an "okay" level, but when things get complex or if the code gets too long, gpt has a hard time keeping up...
I was stuck on a specific problem on a custom listview widget that had complex code such as fetching, saving cache from supabase to app state, detect if cache is available, various if else statements, rebuilding the list view, adding custom filters, sorting, search, etc etc. The widget had 500 lines of code and gpt started removing certain lines of code without me asking for it to be removed. Most importantly it couldn't fix the problems I was dealing with. It was an absolute headache.
I decided to give GROK a try.. the paid version. and boy was I surprised. It completely fixed my issues with the very first response. Gave me exactly what I was doing wrong and most importantly, it gave me the exact code back without unnecessary changes or removal of certain code without permission.... I have been using it for a few days now and the amount of time I have saved and my progress sky rocketed...!
