Improving the support for external widgets

This is more a discussion than a specific feature request at the moment. I like the potential of FF but we are kind of stuck with the integrated widgets aside from hard-coding more ourselves.

One thing Ive really found successful with other visual design tools like Elementor for Wordpress, is the strong support for allowing others to add widgets to their system, so the community wasnt waiting on the limited dev team to produce every new feature it needed.

As I go about creating my project, I am looking to invest in creating screens and widgets that could have been done by someone else already, or that perhaps would be beneficial for me to offer to others for a price. At the same time, I would want to secure that code as best I can, so I am getting some benefit from sharing and offering it to others. I certainly would like to be able to purchase more widgets from others and hopefully the other way around. Right now, people have to setup their own private websites to offer such things and there seems to be an all-or-nothing price tage of $0 and $200 on whats in the market.

Also consider opening up end points within the app so others can add widgets natively.

I dont know that FF is fully embracing the community aspect by offering the sale of widgets so we can be more collaborative, and could help increase adoption considerably if done better. Im new to this community but thats my immediate observation if others can comment on this.
