Hey guys,
I've been working on a project for a little while, but I keep running into complexities with relations using Firestore, and it feels like it leads to "dirty" solutions. So I asked chatGPT which database would be more applicable to my application (a learning platform with courses), and it suggested Supabase.
When I started with FF, I had never worked in Firebase/Firestore at all, so I've learned it all from scratch. I'm prepared to do the same with Supabase if necessary, however, looking at all the "extra" things you seem to need to do, and all the caveats that seem mentioned on these forums over and over again – if the ambition is to keep it low/no-code the way FF's Firebase integration does: is Supabase actually ready to use in FF?
Not looking to start fires or play favorites with technology, I'd just like you guys' honest take on the state of things 🙌
