Every single thing I try to do doesn't work the first time. This is soooo frustrating.
I'm not an expert coder, but have coded professionally for many years of my career. I've been looking for THE BEST low-code solution in the market for years. I have evaluated many many many solutions. I'm trying to do some simple things in flutterflow, none of which are working:
1. I want to databind to my DreamFactory APIs. I have spent several hours trying to get this to work. I 100% know that my API is responding with data and my JSON path is correct. I'm either getting an error when binding to the widget or I'm getting an error binding when loading the page. There are very limited debugging capabilities.
Here's the guide I want:
1. Create pages and add widgets
2. Create apis
3. Databinding for CRUDS
4. Setting/using session state and parameter variables
5. Setting/using app config settings
6. Adding custom modules
7. How to set up themes/menus
8. Dev workflows: Deploying to multiple environments, storing in github
The training has consistently been there, but it's not accurate. I cannot get this to work and I've spent at least 4 hours trying: https://docs.flutterflow.io/data-and-backend/api-calls/api-calls-101#using-json-path
I would 100% recommend sitting with both a developer and a non-developer and watch them learn your platform. It's so feature-rich and so not intuitive.
I could use ChatGPT and probably figure out how to generate code for a front-end automagically at this rate...
