If you turn on \"Update Page on Map Move\":

The difference is \"setState()\". This call \"Rebuild\" method, so the page will reload. But \"Rebuild\" not means \"Refresh\", because other state of the page will not be re initiated. It can particular purpose to refresh the data(i.e. filter app states)

The concern is how to invoke data refresh, so the easiest way is to add another button to refresh data. Other way is to create a custom GoogleMap widget, and set parameters to execute some action according to user interaction.
