My name is Ali, and I am new to FlutterFlow. After exploring different app development platforms, I believe FlutterFlow is the best choice for my journey of turning ideas into real applications.
I am currently working on an app called BAB, which means "Bar Ama Baro" in Somali — "Teach or Learn" in English.
The idea came from a challenge that many people in Somalia face. Although thousands of students are learning English, there is very little opportunity to practice speaking it in real-life situations. Most learners study grammar and vocabulary, but they lack an environment where they can confidently communicate in English with others.
BAB aims to create a complete English-speaking ecosystem where learners can:
✅ Join English-speaking clubs and discussion groups
✅ Practice daily conversations with other learners
✅ Find speaking partners based on their level and interests
✅ Book qualified English teachers from Kenya and other English-speaking countries
✅ Join live online classes and workshops
✅ Purchase ready-made English lessons and learning materials
✅ Participate in challenges, debates, and speaking competitions
✅ Track their learning progress and achievements
✅ Build confidence through consistent practice
My vision is to make English learning more social, practical, and accessible, especially for learners who do not have opportunities to practice in their local communities.
As someone who is just beginning with FlutterFlow, this project is both exciting and challenging. I look forward to learning from this amazing community, receiving your feedback, and hopefully bringing BAB to life.
