I'm thrilled to explore the new community - and to take the chance to share a bit about myself with you. I was born in Cairo, Egypt and for the past several years, I've been calling Dubai my home.
For over two decades, I have immersed myself in the world of software development, and I can confidently say that it's more than just a profession; it's a part of who I am. A developer by heart. I remember the days during prep & primary school when I had a DOS based computer with 5'' floppy disks and I used to write & experiment with Qbasic and when Windows 3.11 was released that was fire 🔥
I graduated Computer Science from Cairo University in 2006 and have been working with web development technologies since then, I recall the days when front-end, back-end and DevOps were practically unheard of. In those times, we developers had to be jacks of all trades, handling every aspect of web development with a smile on our faces.
In 2011 I started taking a more non-technical responsibility and delved into Program Management, Services Delivery Management and Operations Management. It's not what I love doing every day, but its helping me put food on the table while I spend my spare time working on my own projects - which includes LVLUP.
I never did mobile app development... Until a little over one year ago when I stumbled upon FlutterFlow.
Actually, prior to stumbling upon FlutterFlow I played around with Xamarin, Apache Cordova and React-Native... Just trying them out and trying to figure out if I would choose a platform/or technology for my next project.
FlutterFlow, is a remarkable product that revolutionized the way I approach app development. Despite having no real prior experience in app development, FlutterFlow's intuitive interface and powerful features captured my imagination. With its help, I swiftly launched several apps to the marketplace, achieving feats I once thought were beyond my reach.
Today I can proudly say that I have launched 3 personal projects (including LVLUP) and working on a few more... I'm also running a Dubai based software agency and have migrated over 50+ projects to FlutterFlow where my entire dev team is only building FlutterFlow apps today.
