Just to get to the relevant info first, I live in Tyler, TX.
There will be those who say to refer to the FF docs and videos. I'm aware. Thanks. Some things are just easier to learn with instant feedback and focused insights.
I made the goal for myself of building a fitness, nutrition, and health tracking app. Because I had no experience in doing that, I started in the wrong place (multiple times).
I started doing work in Figma, but then learned it was just for UX design. Then I started doing work in Bubble.io. Some decent progress was made and I was learning to do the backend work, but my experience is only taking me so far. It was time to start looking for a potential partner because I knew I couldn't do it on my own. I found one...in Houston (4 hours away). This person brought me to FlutterFlow. I can see an advantage in using FF over Bubble.
Through our conversations and my time in learning FF, I came to realize that the other person would be carrying the partnership and I still had a lot of learning to do, so I put that relationship on pause until I could bring more to the table.
I'm looking for someone local I can build a relationship with and learn from because the knowledge transfer is faster in a face-to-face format. The answers to questions of how to do this and how to do that are much more focused and immediate.
So if you're in the area, I'm saying hi.
