Hi, I’m an old fart (started 1982 with C) now aiming towards a Flutter and Matter based IoT ecosystem. With some 200k LoC under the belt, I’m new to Flutter, aiming to learn as I go.
My current dream is to contribute towards an OSS ecosystem that allows CSA Matter devices to be easily controlled from Flutter and FlutterFlow apps instead of using the proprietary SDKs from Apple and Google. However, I’m starting with BlueTooth Low Energy (BLE) GATT, as that allows me to do some demos more easily, without needing to dive into how to support iOS and Android native APIs and how to unify the pretty different APIs by Google and Apple.
