Our Experts program is central to the FlutterFlow Community. These are the freelancers and agencies who have proven their expertise in FlutterFlow and offer everything from UI/UX consultation to full-scale app development. Not only have many of them been users since the early days, they are essential to our community and to the success of builders everywhere.
In March, we moved our Experts program from an in-house platform to Contra, which was already hosting our Coaches program. This felt like the right next step: Contra has excellent SEO, visually compelling project displays, and a brilliant team behind it. When we need great talent to help us at FlutterFlow, we use Contra.
When we announced the migration, some of our Experts raised concerns. Still, we believed Contra would provide long-term benefits for both our Experts and our users.
After going live, we started hearing more concerns from our Experts: inbound inquiries were down. For some, Contra worked well, but for others it wasn’t generating the opportunities they relied on. After two months of data, it was clear — our Experts were right. Inbound leads had declined. We had hypotheses why, but we knew we had to listen.
So, we pivoted.
We partnered with one of our own Expert Agencies, Calda, to build a new platform from the ground up. They understood exactly what users, and Experts, needed to succeed. Today, we’re thrilled to share the result: a new Expert Portal, better than ever.
