IconButton seems to always have padding

I'm adding an IconButton of size 50px inside a container with 50px. They all have 0 padding. The icon itself has 50px also. It seems the IconButton always add padding to the icon even though the padding is 0px.

As you can see the play button is not filling the IconButton.

Is this normal?
