Page Transition animation : How to make App Bar stay fixed

Hello,
I have a question and wondering if its possible or not.

In the app I am developing, each page have the "App bar" on top as well as a progress bar. I want the App bar and progress bar stay in place when a page transitions. Basically I want only everything below the appbar + progress bar to be affected by the page transition animation. Is it possible ?
